Is the liver just about hangovers and gallstones?

Not at all. Your liver and its helper organ the gallbladder are really important organs that carryout a lot of vital functions in your body, as well as having a some very specific things that can go wrong.

What is wrong with my liver?

Your liver filters and detoxifies much of what passes through your body, including your stressful experiences. So lifestyle guidance is of direct relevance to hepatic (liver) health, including diet, stress management, emotional wellbeing and work-life balance.

There are also specific diseases of the liver such as hepatitis, cirrhosis or fatty liver which can be influenced by stress and lifestyle, and where it is likely that you will do better if you are helped in learning how to manage these.

And my gallbladder?

The gallbladder carries out tasks on behalf of the liver, such as storing and secreting digestive juices (bile) to break down fats in food and helping with cholesterol metabolism. Painful acute gallbladder attacks can happen when overall digestive health is a problem or lipid (fat) digestion is compromised. There doesn’t have to be inflammation or gallstones visible on investigation to diagnose a problem with gallbladder health. A lot of people will be able to avoid having their gallbladder removed by following advice and treatment we can provide.

I really liked how we started with the work on nutrition and my relationship with food.  This physical work acted as a safety net for the energetic emotional shifts that the breath and body work brought on. They were quite full on!

“The best way I can describe what Stefan does is to say that there are times when I have gone to see him feeling like I'm "broken" due to stress, over work, the death of my brother and other life experiences that have been hard to deal with. And in a simple sentence I leave feeling "fixed". Top qualities: Great Results, Expert, Creative“
