Might you have breathing problems?

Are you feeling stress over a job interview or an important presentation? Or perhaps you frequently feel spaced out, with poor memory and concentration, or lose your cool easily? If so, Breath Coaching may be able to help.

Breath Coaching is a medically proven technique that helps you breeze through stressful situations and sort a host of symptoms – without resorting to medication.

What is overbreathing?

Overbreathing is when you breathe in more than you breathe out. You will most likely have experienced the problem of overbreathing but few people know about overbreathing. Nine out of ten people are thought to overbreathe. Surely, the more oxygen you get the better? Well, not quite. Overbreathing actually reduces the oxygen supply to your brain. Just one minute of overbreathing triggers up to a 40 per cent loss of oxygen to your brain.

Why is overbreathing harmful?

Over 30 years of medical research shows the link between overbreathing and a host of medical symptoms, such as: sleepless nights, tension headaches, palpitations, hypertension, irritable bowel syndrome, muscle pains, fatigue, sleep apnea, asthma, breathlessness, chest pain, sexual dysfunction, allergic responses, and anxiety.

Overbreathing can make you so nervous that you flunk out at public speaking, romantic encounters, interviews, artistic performances, social events, competitive sports events or exams.

How can Breath Retraining help you?

One-to-one breathing rehabilitation sessions uses the latest biofeedback techniques so you can monitor your own levels of overbreathing and correct them.

Vena Ramphal, London

I really liked how we started with the work on nutrition and my relationship with food.  This physical work acted as a safety net for the energetic emotional shifts that the breath and body work brought on. They were quite full on!

Isabel, Muswell Hill

Alex Brown, London

“The best way I can describe what Stefan does is to say that there are times when I have gone to see him feeling like I'm "broken" due to stress, over work, the death of my brother and other life experiences that have been hard to deal with. And in a simple sentence I leave feeling "fixed". Top qualities: Great Results, Expert, Creative“
